POLICY & LEGAL

The smallest set of cookies necessary to operate the site.

What this policy covers

This Cookie Policy describes how deetzconsulting.com uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They allow the site to remember your preferences (such as that you have already dismissed a notice) and to function correctly across page loads.

Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. Where this policy refers to "cookies," it includes these related technologies.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the site to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. Examples include session cookies that maintain your navigation state and security cookies that protect against cross-site request forgery.

Analytics cookies

We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand which pages are visited and how visitors arrive at the site. The analytics tool is configured to anonymize IP addresses and does not share data with advertising networks. Aggregate analytics inform editorial improvements to the site; they are not used to profile individual visitors.

Third-party scheduler

The contact page embeds Cal.com for scheduling. Cal.com is an open-source, privacy-focused scheduling platform that, when invoked, sets its own cookies necessary to operate the scheduler. Cal.com does not run advertising trackers and does not sell visitor data.

Cookies we do not use

  • Advertising or marketing cookies.
  • Cross-site behavioral tracking pixels (Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads, etc.).
  • Third-party data broker integrations.
  • Visitor identification or fingerprinting beyond standard analytics.

Managing cookies

Most browsers allow you to view, accept, reject, or delete cookies through your browser settings. You may set your browser to block all cookies, but doing so may affect functionality of this and other websites.

For broader cookie management, you may consult resources such as aboutcookies.org or allaboutcookies.org.

Do Not Track

The firm respects the Do Not Track ("DNT") browser signal where it is set. When DNT is enabled, the site does not run analytics tracking. Because there is no industry-wide standard for DNT, the firm treats the signal conservatively in your favor.

Changes

This Cookie Policy may be updated to reflect changes in technology or in the firm's practices. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
